Working with Data – the logic of a computer program is only as good as the program’s input.  Working with user input as well as files and other data sources is an important part of computer programming.  Taking these sources as input and then considering data representation languages like JSON and XML is explored.

Coding Fundamentals  Computer Programming is like a sport. You must learn the fundamentals, and then practice them to gain an expertise. Our microcredentials in Coding offer you the fundamental skills needed to learn computer programming even if you have never coded before. If you have experience in coding, our approach may offer a fresh perspective on coding that adds value to your existing foundation. This is the first in a series of 3 offerings focusing on the fundamental skills needed to learn computer programming from the ground up.
