Course: 0371 - Custom Jewelry - Through Fused Glass 

Come bring a friend (or two) and make jewelry!  During your time together with the artist, Jeff Shawhan, you will learn about a variety of techniques and glass materials to create fused glass jewelry.  Participants will learn how to cut/fabricate glass and the basics of glass fusing techniques, including kiln firing. At the end of this two day class you will be able to take home many unique pieces of jewelry that you created!

About the artist:

Jeff Shawhan is an Assistant Professor of Art at Concordia University in the 3-D Arts (ceramics, glass, sculpture and design). He holds a MFA in Ceramics from The University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee and a BFA from The University of Wisconsin Parkside. Jeff is represented by numerous art galleries in the U.S.  and is a world class Snow Sculptor.
